Peanut butter may be a dog’s most favorite flavor for dog treats! Puppy Cake offers a wheat-free version with the winning flavor of peanut butter. Unlike cakes for people, Puppy Cakes are healthy and safe for your dog. Fed in moderation, Puppy Cake is a fun and healthy supplement to your dog's diet. We use brown rice flour for dogs with sensitive stomachs or allergies and evaporated cane juice to provide a nutritional snack. Top it with our yogurt frosting mix and you will be enhancing your dog’s immune and digestive systems.
Cake Mix: rice flour, evaporated cane juice, beet powder, baking powder and salt.
Frosting mix: unflavored yogurt powder.
Directions
Simply add an egg, vegetable oil and water, then mix and bake or microwave. Each box makes a 8 cupcakes or a 6" round cake. A small round casserole dish works great for the 6" cake.
Just add water to the frosting!
Microwave Directions
After following mixing instructions on package, pour Puppy Cake batter into a 6 inch round casserole dish that is microwave safe and microwave on HIGH for 6-7 minutes or until a knife put in the center comes out clean. Wait until cool and then frost.
For individual servings, pour 2-3 tablespoons of Puppy Cake batter into a microwave safe coffee cup or similar sized microwave safe dish (about 2 inch round) and microwave on HIGH for 2 minutes. Wait until cool and then frost.
Be sure the dishes are microwave safe before using.
Recommended serving sizes:
5 – 25 lbs ½ - 1 medium sized frosted muffin
26 – 75 lbs 1 medium sized frosted muffin
76 lbs and up 1-2 medium sized frosted muffins
Puppy Cake has a 1 year shelf life.
